|Cece Davis Gifford, RD, CSSD, LD, CLT* (Owner), founded Nutrition Consultants of Tulsa in 1978. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Davis Gifford is a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) and counsels coaches, individuals and teams in sports nutrition. Davis Gifford is a Certified LEAP therapist (CLT) and provides practical management of the Mediator Release Test (MRT) in her practice. This test identifies food and food-chemical sensitivities related to chronic inflammatory conditions.
Davis Gifford also specializes in medical nutrition therapy with complicated comorbidities, eating disorders, food allergies and celiac disease. She is a recognized leader in the dietetics profession, and has served in high profile positions in state and national dietetics associations. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Oklahoma Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Davis Gifford has authored the e-book, Nutrition For People That Sit All Day.
Connie Davis Bendel, RD/LD*, is an Associate and Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Oklahoma. Bendel practiced inpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy with critically ill patients at St. John Medical Center for five years. She specialized in nutrition support, renal failure/transplants, oncology, and surgical intensive care patients. Bendel now focuses on outpatient counseling specializing in oncology nutrition, bariatric nutrition, weight management, and home nutrition support. Additionally, her passion for fitness and nutrition and a practical approach to health inspires her clients to succeed in achieving their goals of healthier lifestyles, whatever their circumstances. Bendel also represents Nutrition Consultants of Tulsa in corporate wellness programs and is a frequent presenter for the media. Bendel is a member of the Oncology Nutrition practice group, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and Oklahoma Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Gabrielle Taylor MS, RD, LD has her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and her Master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Oklahoma State University. Gabrielle is a supportive nutrition coach known for her sound nutrition advice, technical skills and innovative ideas to inspire and motivate you to reach your goals. Drawing on a diverse care in the nutrition field for over 12 years, Gabrielle has worked in a variety of setting including oncology, diabetes self-management education, diabetes prevention/prediabetes, weight management, cardiovascular disease, long term acute care and family nutrition.
Gabrielle recognizes that each client is different and requires individual strategies to achieve success. Gabrielle’s nutrition philosophy focuses on self-empowerment and setting realistic goals for healthy eating. She presents scientific nutrition information in an easy to understand manner and will show you that it is possible to make healthy choices anywhere and anytime without feeling like you are missing out.
Gabrielle is the mother of 3 active children who provide her with nutrition challenges of their own. Having a busy and active family helps her understand the nutritional challenges that her clients face, yet gives her the inspiration to make nutrition an important part of daily living.
